Product & UX/UI Designer

Michael Ayala Escobar
Profile Summary
I am a Product Designer with a strong foundation in UX/UI design, visual design, and system thinking. My work focuses on creating meaningful digital products by combining user research, structured problem-solving, and clear, scalable design solutions. I approach design as a process, not just an outcome, ensuring that every decision is grounded in user needs, business context, and long-term product viability.
"The experience is not designed for the technology, but for the life that happens through it."

Design Philosophy
I have spent over ten years immersed in the world of design, mostly as an independent professional and, at times, collaborating with startups. This journey has allowed me to develop autonomy, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility for my work.
In recent years, I have deliberately transitioned into UX/UI and product design to deepen my understanding of how digital products are researched, structured, and scaled. What truly defines me, however, is not a title or a discipline, but my commitment to continuously go beyond my current limitations, refine my way of thinking, and improve how I create value through design.
For me, design is not an end in itself, but a tool to solve real problems, support better decision-making, and contribute to building products that are meaningful, responsible, and sustainable over time.
